Program Description
- In a highly mobile world where the preservation of historical and natural environments presents as one of the major challenges facing all societies, heritage has become a touchstone for social and cultural identity, the understanding of modernity, peace, and development, and the senses of citizenship, custodianship, and community.
- At the same time, heritage sites have become significant tourist destinations and so in a world of flows and networks, the heritage-tourism relationship is a critical one. In the 21st century, it is impossible to disentangle the two.
- The degree enables a critical examination of the relationship between heritage and tourism in a number of settings within Australia and internationally.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Successful Completion of Global Assessment Certificate with a GPA of 2.0.
- Successful completion of Cambridge International or Edexcel GCE O Level examinations with at least 2 Credits and 2 Passes in 4 core subjects
